What's included in the rental?
Rental fee includes access to the bridal suite, groom's bar, barn, machine shed, 60x60 pole barn, two decks, fire during your event and on-site restrooms. String lights and drapery in the barn, whiskey barrels for decor, farmhouse tables, cross-back chairs and benches for the ceremony are also included.
How many guests will the barn hold?
The barn will seat up to 300 guests for both the ceremony and reception and up to 400 standing for the dance reception. Keep in mind that 275 is a more comfortable level for seating allowing enough room for the grand entrance aisle, buffet area, DJ, and decor tables.
Where can I have my wedding ceremony?
The ceremony can be held inside the machine shed or we have three outdoor ceremony locations available. Outdoor ceremonies can take place behind the machine shed, to the southeast or southwest of the main barn. A map will be provided at booking to establish a ceremony location.
Where can I have my wedding reception?
Wedding receptions will be held inside the barn with a back deck and bar for guests to enjoy the weather and sunset. In the event of rain, reception activities during the cocktail hour (such as lawn games) can take place in the 60x60 pole barn behind the main barn.
Are tables & chairs for the ceremony and reception included in the rental fee?
Yes, farmhouse tables and cross-back chairs will be included in the rental fee. Ceremony chair set-up is customizable, the reception set-up will only be available with one layout option. Tables will not require linens.
Is there parking at the barn?
While guests are encouraged to use hotel shuttles, we have a parking lot on-site that has capacity for up to 125 vehicles. Guests may park overnight but must pick up their vehicles by 10 a.m. the morning after the event. We also offer shuttle reimbursement up to $150.
Are there dressing rooms on site for the bride and groom?
Yes, we are fully renovating the bridal suite and groom’s bar. The bridal suite will be air-conditioned with four hair & makeup stations, a full-length mirror, changing area, couch and chair seating, a bar cart (ice is included) and a food/hors d'oeuvres table. The air-conditioned groom’s bar will include a 14 person full-length bar, couch and chair seating, a full-length mirror, and a vintage dartboard.
When can we rehearse?
Rehearsals are available on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings (Saturday weddings only) and will be scheduled at the time of booking.
What times do we have access to the property on our wedding day?
You may arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. central time. All guests must depart by midnight on the day of your event. Vendors and those doing final pickup must depart no later than 1 a.m.
Is there a caterer’s prep area in the barn?
We have limited prep space available for caterers to use. Choosing a caterer with barn venue experience will be in your best interest. No cooking can take place inside the barn. There is also limited water access.
What type of restrooms are available?
A luxury restroom trailer with ac/heat and running water will be on site for the season along with an ADA wheelchair accessible portable and both are included in the rental fee.
Will there be Brindlewood Barn staff on-site during my event?
Yes, there will be at least one staff member present on-site throughout the day and into the evening to ensure your day is safe and enjoyable for both you and your guests. Staff will address questions, tidy restrooms, oversee vendors and monitor guest safety. Brindlewood staff are not wedding planners or coordinators. If you feel that is support that will be needed for your event, hiring a wedding planner is advised.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed in the barn, on the deck or in the pole barn. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas outside of the barn and all smoking waste/litter must be properly disposed of in designated receptacles.
Are pets allowed?
Only animals owned by the bride and groom are permitted at the event. A maximum of three dogs are allowed on the property on the day of your event. Please note that Brindlewood staff is not responsible for watching, kenneling or leashing your animals at any time. You are also responsible for any waste pickup. The property is located on a County Road with a speed limit of 55mph that can be very dangerous for animals. We do not advise bringing animals on extremely hot days.
